Hello there, my Little Monsters! Halloween is rapidly approaching, and I have a little something for everyone to consider adding to their Halloween viewing roster.
The fiendish folks at Mass Grave Pictures, who previously brought us Blood Slaughter Massacre and The Attack Of The Brain People, are now offering up a web based anthology series called Dark Tales From Channel X.
Our host is an enigmatic man, who speaks in riddles, and is known only as “The Viewer”. Aside from being the master of ceremonies, so to speak, he is also the curator of this menagerie of mysterious and macabre tales.
Each story presented in this anthology is a short film produced by Mass Grave Pictures, each ranging in duration from five to fifteen minutes. The first two episodes will be released in October and another two episodes will be released in November.
The first installment is a little story called Sleepless. It tells the tale of a man who suffers from insomnia, and anyone who suffers from it can tell you just how horrible it can be. Now imagine this sleeplessness compounded by having to endure torment from a dark presence on a nightly basis as well.
Have I whet your appetite? If I have, you need only to click here and you will be able this first of these Dark Tales. Then when you’ve finished with that, you can also view a little teaser for the next episode, entitled The Au Pair.
Also be on the lookout in November for an episode that will feature the extended cut of their infamous horror short, M Is For Mastectomy, which could previously only be viewed in festivals.
So…what are you waiting for? Head on over to Mass Grave Pictures’ website and prepare yourselves for what horrors lurk within the Dark Tales From Channel X.
