The hit Netflix original series ‘Stranger Things’ is gearing up to begin filming season two. Variety has reported that two new cast members have joined the team.

Sadie Sink has been cast as Max, a tomboy with a complicated history. The young actress has appeared on several series including ‘American Odyssey’,  and the Netflix series ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’.

Aussie actor Dacre Montgomery who will be playing Billy, Max’s bad boy older step brother. Montgomery co-starred as the red Power Ranger in Lionsgate’s upcoming film.

Noah Schnapp who plays Will Byers, the youngster trapped in the Upside Down in season one, has been bumped up to a series regular for season 2.

The season 1 cast included Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Lucas Sinclair, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Matthew Modine, and Joe Keery.

Creators Matt and Ross Duffer have said that next season we will learn more about the Upside Down and the connection between Sheriff Hooper (David Harbour) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). We will also get an extra episode.
