Michael Shawn Crahan’s ‘Officer Downe’, after premiering at the Los Angeles Film Festival, will arrive on VOD on November 18th from Magnolia’s Magnet Releasing.
‘Officer Downe’ is an adaption of the brutal comic by Chris Burnham and John Casey, by the same name. Written by Joe Casey, ‘Officer Downe’ is directed by Crahan, best known as ‘Clown’ from the band Slipknot, and produced by Mark Neveldine.
The film follows a police officer resurrected by science and returned to duty in Los Angeles, played by Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy). When a rookie officer named Gable is assigned as back up, he discovers there is much more to the titular super-cop than a mindless law enforcement drone warring against a gallery of over-the-top super-villains.
The role of Officer Downe is played Kim Coates. Tyler Ross, Sam Witwer, Lauren Luna Velez and Lindsay Pulsipher co-star in this bloody, action-filled film.
Today, we have a new clip. Watch as Officer Downe blows a nun’s head off.
