Walking Dead Star Will Travel Space As Lead In New Star Trek Series

Beginning this May, after nearly a decade, a new ‘Star Trek’ series will be coming to television and to CBS’ streaming service. News has come that Sonequa Martin-Green, who currently stars as Sasha on AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’, will be playing Lieutenant Commander Rainsford aboard the U.S.S. Discovery on ‘Star Trek: Discovery’. The question on the mind of many of Green’s fans is what will this mean for her character Sasha? Currently, ‘The Walking Dead’ is on its mid-season break. When the show returns this February the group from Alexandria will be trying to build bridges with the surrounding settlements in hopes that they will a unite to take out Negan and his Saviors. Does this mean that Sash won’t around much longer? Hopefully she will be there to see Negan’s fall and get justice for Abraham’s death.

Russell Crowe To Star In Josh Boone’s Film Adaption Of Revival

This past February Josh Boone (X-Men: The New Mutants) put his remake of Stephen King’s ‘The Stand’ on hold to move forward with another story by King, ‘Revival’. New Line’s Michael De Luca (Fright Night 2011) will produce. ‘Revival’, published in 2014, “ follows a preacher who loses his faith when his wife and child are killed in an accident. He soon becomes obsessed in his experimentation into the healing power of electrical current, positioning him to act as God-like faith healer. Intertwined with the preacher is a young man with demons of his own, who has benefited from the preacher’s talents and becomes a reluctant accomplice to his deadly obsession.” Boone recently told Creative Screenwriting that actor Russell Crowe will play the lead in ‘Revival’. David F. Sandberg’s name should sound familiar, he recently directed the genre hit ‘Lights Out’ (review). Before the blockbuster film, produced by James Wan, came to be there was the short film ‘Lights Out’, from Sandberg and it has racked-up over 13 million views on YouTube. The brilliant writer-director has several other terrifying short films, starring Lotta Losten, and we have a few of them here for you to enjoy. We advise you not to watch them late at night with the lights out. ‘Lights Out’ ‘Attic Panic’ centers on a woman locked in an attic who realizes that she is not be alone. Be honest, you have all wondered if your house, or the building down the street, is haunted. There’s now an app for that. Asif Ghafoor, the founder and CEO of Spacious, an online real estate company in Hong Kong, was inspired by Pokemon Go and augmented reality to create the app that reveals potentially haunted places and tells you how people at the location died. It focuses mainly on real estate where people were murdered or committed suicide. Augmented reality is something we’d been thinking about for a while. Are Viewers Losing Their Taste For Zombies – Ratings Continue To Fall For The Walking Dead

‘ The Walking Dead may be in trouble. After 7 seasons AMC’s highest ranking show seems to be in decline. The season 7 premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’ scored the second highest ratings in the hit series’ history. A month later the ratings have taken a nose-dive. The episode titled “Go Getters”, had the lowest ratings since the third season. Some may say that it’s just a fluke, but a 7 million drop in ratings is pretty significant, and it’s getting worse. The episode before Sunday’s mid-season finale saw another drop to 10.4 million. The trend in viewer decline began with the season 6 finale which reached 12.42 million viewers, 3 million less than the season 5 finale. Let’s hope things pick-up through the second half of the season. TWD is not the only show losing viewers. The spin-off, ‘Fear the Walking Dead’, is suffering as well. Merry Christmas…Run and Hide! The Pardo Murders

I have never been a huge fan of Christmas. Obviously Halloween is the better holiday — there could be a whole article on the reasons why, but even without the comparison I have a tough time with this holiday. (It doesn’t help that the two most embarrassing moments of my life have happened due to this holiday) but I also don’t get all giddy about lights, trees, traditions, or parties. We Are Saying Goodbye To Salem

Many genre series are coming to end. Series such as ‘Grimm’, ‘The Vampire Diaries’, and ‘Teen Wolf’ are all wrapping up their series after their current seasons. Hell, even ‘Supernatural‘ is already preparing fans for its end in the near future. Now, WGN’s ‘Salem’ has announced it too will end after its current season. And that is a shame, it is a fantastic series. The season 3 finale will also serve at the show’s finale episode, Deadline reports. New Sneak Peek From The Walking Dead Reveals Alexandria Is Ready To Rise Up

The Walking Dead held their mid-season finale this past Sunday. While there were no huge cliffhangers (Thanks AMC), there were a couple of deaths. Thankfully, no one major died. We also got to see Rick and Daryl reunite at the Hilltop. After the episode, the first trailer for the second half of the season gave fans a taste of the old Rick and the group in action as they “rise up” against the saviors. A new sneak peek was released, via Talking Dead, that gives us more insight into what the next half of the season will entail. Rick is fed-up and ready to fight back. They need more help to take out the Saviors. Jesus thinks it’s time for Rick to meet King Ezekiel. The Walking Dead will return in February. We can expect to see a lot of action in 7B and season 8 as Alexandria, Hilltop, and hopefully The Kingdom, go up against Negan and his men

Netflix’s Mysterious New Series The OA Premieres This Week – Watch The Trailer

Monday, Netflix tweeted a series of strange tweets, “Have you seen death?”, “Have you seen darkness”, and last “Have you seen the light?”. Spooky right? The tweets are part of a social media campaign for their new series ‘The OA’. The newly opened Instagram account has been posting images from the series that leaves its followers with more questions than answers. The trailer has just arrived and it’s pretty creepy, in a good way. It gives off a ‘Stranger Things’ vibe and seems to have a other-worldly aspect. The eight episode series centers on Prairie Jackson (Marling), a woman who reappears seven years after she mysteriously disappeared. Much of the plot is being kept quiet, adding to the 8-episode original series’ myster Zai Batmanglij was in the directors chair for ‘The OA’, which he co-wrote with Brit Marling.
