From director Julia Ducournau comes the French-Belgian tale of Justine, a young woman who comes from a family of vegetarian veterinarians. At the age of 16 she is a promising and brilliant student. After she enrolls at veterinarian school, she enters a decadent and dangerously seductive world. During the first week she faces a week of hazing rituals. Desperate to fit in, she strays from her family’s principles and eats raw meet for the first time.
‘Raw’ will be featured later this month at Sundance, followed by its debut in select US theaters from Universal Pictures.
