One of the most popular genre franchises in recent history is ‘The Conjuring’ films and soon the will add another film to their collection, ‘The Conjuring 2’ spin-off, ‘The Nun’, which we first reported back in June.
Deadline is reporting that the film has found it’s director, Corin Hardy. Hardy, who is also attached to direct ‘The Crow‘, starring Jason Momoa, and the upcoming film ‘Hell Bent‘, is best known for his 2015 film ‘The Hallow‘.
‘The Nun’, a spin-off of ‘The Conjuring 2’, is the second spin-off of the franchise. The other is ‘Annabelle’ whose sequel is set to be released this August.
‘The Nun’, written by Gary Dauberman and James Wan, who will also be producing alongside Peter Safran, will focus on the dark entity that haunted Vera Farmiga’s character throughout ‘The Conjuring 2’. Farmiga plays the role of real life psychic and paranormal investigator Loraine Warren whose husband Ed is played by Patrick Wilson.
Below you will find the haunting scene where the Nun is first introduced in ‘The Conjuring 2’.
