Check into ‘The Institute’ this March, co-directed by James Franco and Pamela Romanowsky. The film was written by Adam and Matt Rager, based on a true story. The trailer has arrived and reveals Franco playing the dark role of a twisted doctor who enjoys watching his patients’ pain and suffering.
Set in 19th century Baltimore, the film tells the story of Isabel Porter (Allie Gallerani). Brokenhearted by her parent’s untimely death, she checks herself into the Rosewood Institute where she is subjected to strange and increasingly violent experiments in personality modification, mind control and brainwashing. She must find a way to escape Rosewood or she will be forever lost.
Scott Haze, Lori Singer, Joe Pease, Josh Duhamel, Eric Roberts, Topher Grace, and Tim Blake Nelson co-star in this dark tale.
‘The Institute’ will open in theaters and on VOD on March 3, 2017 from Momentum Pictures.
