New Images Arrive From Season Two Of Stranger Things

A week ago we got our first look at season 2 of Netflix’s hit original series ‘Stranger Things’ via a teaser trailer which revealed a glimpse at a giant monster that looks like something out of ‘The Mist’. Now, a new series of images have surfaced. In season two, some people in town are aware of what happened to Will and the kids, others are not. Last season Nancy’s best friend Barb was killed and the girl is having trouble dealing with the loss and feels as if everyone has forgotten about Barb and moved on with their lives. It appears that the world, or at least the town, is now in “The Upside Down” or the least, monsters have escaped it. The lab is still operating and is now run by Dr. Owens (Paul Reiser). The creators assure us that we will see “different kinds of horror.” Season one starred Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown, Gaten

Woman (in Horror) Crush Wednesday: Danielle Harris

Hello again my Little Monsters, as previously promised I have returned to highlight yet another lovely and talented woman of the horror genre. This particular woman in horror, is one that I first became aware of back in the heyday of brick and mortar video stores and VHS movie rentals. Of course Danielle Harris was a young girl then but has grown up to be one of the most recognized faces in the genre. In the spring of 1988, Danielle had beaten out several young actresses, including Melissa Joan Hart, to play the role of Laurie Strode’s young daughter, Jamie Lloyd, in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. Prior to taking on this role, she had only acted in one episode each of the TV series One Life to Live and Spencer for Hire. Danielle would reprise her role of Jamie LLoyd nearly one year later in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. At the age of 12

Petition Circulating To Convince Studio To Cast Robert Englund As Dr. Loomis In New Halloween

Earlier this month John Carpenter revealed the director, writers, and release date for the upcoming ‘Halloween’ film. Since the announcement there has been a debate amongst genre fans about how should be cast in the role of Dr. Loomis. Fans already have a man in mind, Freddy Krueger actor Robert Englund. In fact, there is now a petition being shared in hopes of convincing the studio, director David Gordon Green, and co-writer Danny McBride to cast Englund as Michael Myers’ foe. This petition was created to allow fans of the Halloween series a direct say in a very salient part of the next film. In short, we think none other than the original Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund, would be the perfect person to play Dr. Samuel Loomis. He has the look, the age, and the of course, the acting skills, to play Michael Myers most dedicated foe. And if Loomis isn’t in plans for the future film, consider him

Lights Out And An Irresponsible Message About Depression.

What most people don’t know about clinical depression is quite a lot. I have personally been diagnosed with it, and yet I am in no way an expert about its biological intricacies. What I do know and what I can tell you is that clinical depression is not equivalent to simple sadness. So to tell a person who suffers from any clinical form of depression to “try and cheer up”, “do something fun to get your mind off things”, or any number of other suggestions that have nothing to do with fixing brain chemistry or psychological trauma, is frankly dismissive and unhelpful. What is helpful, is for those who do suffer from a form of clinical depression to seek treatment. If you have followed me this far, I sincerely thank you, my Little Monsters. I promise I will tie Lights Out to my spiel, but if you haven’t seen it…be warned, there are SPOILERS ahead. The basic premise of Lights
