Pennywise

Part one of the new reboot of Stephen King’s IT is scheduled to open in theaters on September 8th of this year. Even with the release date still months away, director Andy Muschietti is ready to begin working on the second installment.
While making the next installment before the results are in from part 1’s box office sales is a rare thing in Hollywood, Muschietti is wasting no time, with filming set to begin on March 17th. Both installments were penned by Gary Dauberman and Chase Palmer.
The first film centers on a group of teens, referred to as the “Losers Club”. On a daily basis they face bullies and now a monster that takes the shape of a demented clown known as Pennywise, has arrived in their sleepy little town of Derry Maine.  The second will involve the “Losers Club” who have come back to town as adults and must once again face Pennywise.
