IFC Midnight has unveiled brand new artwork (above) from renowned illustrator Ken Taylor for the brutal thriller The Devil’s Candy ahead of its release later this month.
Written and directed by Sean Bean, The Devil’s Candy centers on a struggling family. Jesse (Ethan Embry), an artist and hardcore metalhead, moves with his wife (Shiri Appleby) and daughter (Kiara Glasco) to a middle-of-nowhere Texas town, unaware that the new house has a grisly past. Disturbing demonic activity culminates with the appearance of Ray (Pruitt Taylor Vince), the home’s former resident, who is there to do the Devil’s bidding.
The soundtrack for the film includes bands like Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, and a badass original score by Sunn O))). Keith and Jess Calder will produce. They are the same duo who teamed up to produce You’re Next and Blair Witch.
The Devil’s Candy will open in select theaters, and arrive on VOD and Digital HD on March 17th. The film will also be featured as part of the lineup at Horror Hound’s film festival on the same day.
