Lately, there have been a lot of great foreign genre films. Today, I’d like to tell you about a new upcoming Israeli film, titled Freak Out, that you don’t want to miss.
Directed by Boaz Armoni and written by Lior Lederman, Freak Out centers on Matan (Itay Zvolon), a soldier in the IDF, sets off for a week of patrolling in a remote base in the north of the country with his unit. Overwhelmed with homesickness, he becomes an easy target for the other soldiers who try their best to make his life miserable.
However, it is not long before strange and frightening things begin to happen to all the soldiers and they start question whether they will come out of this experience alive.
Kye Korabelnikov, Assaf Ben-Shimon, Eran Peretz, and Offer Ruthenberg co-star in the action-filled movie that was well received at international film festivals.
Freak Out will arrive on Digital HD and VOD on April 11, 2017 from 108 Media.
