We have been seeing a lot of series and movies lately based on novels by Stephen King, including IT and The Mist. Today, we are giving you a first look at David E. Kelley’s series adaption of Mr. Mercedes.
Starring Brendan Gleeson, Harry Treadaway, Jharrel Jerome, Mary-Louise Parker, Scott Lawrence, Kelly Lynch, Justine Lupe, Ann Cusack, Holland Taylor, Robert Stanton, and Breeda Wool, the series is directed by Jack Bender (Game of Thrones).
Kelley both penned the scripts and serves as showrunner. Bender and Kelley serve as executive producers with Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of Temple Hill Entertainment.
Mr. Mercedes centers on a demented killer who taunts a retired police officer with a series of letters and emails, forcing the cop to set out on a private crusade to bring the killer to justice.
Mr. Mercedes will premiere this summer on the Audience Network.
