This past weekend at Texas Nightmare Weekend, the newly redesigned puppets for Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich were revealed. Blade and Tunneler got a new look while a new puppet, a frog in a suit, was introduced. Charles Brand tweeted the first two images of the new puppets with a smile on his face.

Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich is set to begin principle photography next week in Dallas, Texas with a great cast that includes Udo Kier (Blade), Jenny Pellicer (State of Affairs), Nelson Franklin (Jobs), Charlyne Yi (Cloverfield), Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, You’re Next), Tina Parker (Breaking Bad, Final Destination), Skeeta Jenkins (12 Masks) and Michael Paré who starred in Eddie and the Cruisers II (a personal favorite) and more recently, The Shelter and Abattoir.
The Littlest Reich will expand on Toulon’s (Kier) backstory. It centers on a young man who discovers a mint condition Blade doll while cleaning out his deceased brother’s closet. The man has plans to sell the doll at a toy convention on the 30th anniversary of the Toulon murders. All hell breaks loose at the lodge during the convention when a mysterious force brings all of the dolls to life and they set out on a killing spree.
The film is produced by Loerenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian for Bonaventura Pictures alongside Dallas Sonnier and Jack Heller for Caliber Media. Genre icon Charles Band will serve as executive producer. Hopefully we will see a trailer released soon. We’ll keep you posted.
