This September, director Michael Barrett’s haunting thriller Temple (not to be confused with Temple starring Wesley Snipes) will be arriving in theaters and on VOD. While at Cannes the film’s North American rights were acquired by Screen Media.
Starring Logan Huffman, Natalia Warner, and Brandon Tyler Sklenar, the film follows three American students who become fascinated by an ancient temple that is mentioned in a book they discover while on a trip to Japan. Despite warning from the villagers, the friends decide to spend the night in the temple, but will it be their last?
Red Sea Media will be handling the film’s worldwide sales. The Ring’s Neal Edelstein, Eric Bassett, Mike Macari, and Shinya Egawa are producing.
Temple will open in theaters and on VOD on the same day, September 1, 2017.
