Netflix has announced that Forest Whitaker has signed on to co-star alongside Theo James (Underworld: Awakening), David M. Rosenthal (Jacob’s Ladder remake) in the post-apocalyptic thriller How It Ends, THR reports.
Beginning production in Canada next month under the direction of David M. Rosenthal, the film centers on a mysterious apocalyptic event that turns the world into mayhem. Theo James plays a young father who will stop at nothing to get across the country to his pregnant wife.
Written by Brooks McLaren, How It Ends is produced by Paul Sciff, Kelly McCormick, Tai Duncan, and Patrick Newall serve as producers. Sierra’s Nick Meyer and Marc Schaberg are executive producing.
