Kamikaze Dogfight and Gravitas Ventures have announced that the psychological thriller, Go/Don’t Go, written and directed by filmmaker, Alex Knapp, who is making his feature debut, is now available to stream for free on Amazon Prime. In the post-apocalyptic film, “After an unknown cataclysm, Adam (Alex Knapp) is alone. The sole inhabitant of a vacant, unchanged world, or so he thinks. While attempting to stay grounded in the desolate landscape, visions come to him—the fateful night his best friend Kyle (Nore Davis) introduces him to the love of his life, K (Olivia Luccardi). As Adam’s mental state starts to unravel, he is plagued by lingering questions and uncertain realities about his world. His grip on what’s left starts to slip away—sending him spiraling towards a series of unforeseen consequences and unexpected truths.” The film stars Alex Knapp, Olivia Luccardi, Nore Davis, Bettina Skye, Tom Essig, and Zoey Wagner. Tisha spends her days wandering a dry, dusty, post-apocalyptic landscape engaging in the organ dealing biz… but she’s about to get a job walkin’ revenge’s road when an old woman hires her to put a murder on a certain individual that spends his time at ye olde brothel. A simple set-up to be sure, but this one is going to get super brutal in short time… and therein lies a problem or two cats n’ creeps… Scavenger is a film packed with nastiness… most of it inflicted on our heroine, who is sexually assaulted for an incredibly long time. In a film that runs roughly seventy-five minutes with credits, there is a large amount of attention given to the villain of the piece shoving various “weapons” into Tisha with violent abandon. As you lot know, I’m no prude, and I will admit this material adds to the world filmmakers Eric Fleitas and Luciana Garraza (along with co-writer Sheila Fentana) are

Chino Moya makes his directorial debut with Undergods, an anthology with a unique style of its own, is out this May from Gravitas Ventures. The official synopsis goes like this, “in a futuristic, post-apocalyptic world, K and Z roam the streets on the lookout for corpses and something even more valuable – fresh meat.” Several families linked by common elements. Undergods is laid out as stories told either by the two men or a father weaving a tale for his daughter at bedtime. While we learn much about the families, we only get glimpses into the post-apocalyptic world which I wish we would have learned more about. The bleak film is about family more than anything but not as you would expect. Most of the families are in turmoil and have elements of oppression, depression, and infidelity. Each segment comes off a bit strange, slow, and we are given no reason to feel empathy for the characters, they’re just unlikeable,

Constantin Films, the production company behind the Resident Evil franchise, is adapting The Walk, based on Lee Goldberg’s best-selling 2004 novel of the same name, which centers on a studio executive as he makes a journey through a post-apocalyptic California. In The Walk, described as a “part-adventure, part-horror, and part-comedy,” follows TV Network Studio Executive Marty Slack, making his way from downtown LA to the San Fernando Valley to reach his wife after an apocalyptic earthquake destroys the state. During his journey, he must reluctantly team up with an “unusual traveler” to survive, Deadline reports. Wildfires rage out of control. Floodwaters burst through collapsed dams. Danny Trejo really hams it up in the action-horror flick Bullets of Justice that has now scored an October release date from the emerging genre distributor The Horror Collective. In the post-apocalyptic aftermath of World War 3, an army of half-human half-pig super-soldiers takes over the world. It is up to a group of human rebels to destroy them and liberate humankind. Timur Turisbekov, Yana Marinova, Dessy Slavova, Doroteya Toleva, and Ester Chardaklieva star along with Trejo in Bullets of Justice, directed by Valeri Milev and was written by Milev and Timur Turisbekov. Bullets of Justice lands on VOD on October 15th. Check out the absurdly awesome trailer!

Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic today launched a 9-minute gameplay trailer for their upcoming RPG experience set in a post-apocalypse world full of fuzzy little critters, Biomutnat. Biomutant is a third-person open-world RPG where a plague is threatening the tree of life and chaos begins as tribes are divided, players will have to bring order back. With a Kung-fu style story set in a post-apocalyptic world. Biomutnat combines melee, martial arts, and shooting fighting styles. Players can rewrite their own DNA to change their appearance as well as abilities and fighting style. Players can also craft weaponry with unique abilities and styles. The world is large and vibrant allowing players to travel however they want and even wear what they want! Biomutant will be coming out on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One but a date has not been picked yet.

Back in May Deadline shared the first look at sci-fi infection thriller 2067, set in a world plagued by disease after climate change has forced the adoption of artificial oxygen. Now, new images have surfaced, via Bloody-Disgusting, of writer-director Seth Larney’s (Tombiruo) English-language directorial debut. “With his wife sick and little hope for survival, Ethan (Smit-McPhee) is forced to travel to the future in search of a cure for the mysterious illness. Not knowing who to trust, he has to navigate a future filled with imminent danger and the possibility of never coming home.” The film was written by and stars Kodi Smit-McPhee (Let Me In, The Road, ParaNorman) and Ryan Kwanten’s (Dead Silence, “True Blood”). Aaron Glenane (“Snowpiercer”) stars as well along with Sana’a Shaik, Leeana Walsman, and Finn Little. 2067 is now headed to the virtual Cannes market.

11 Bit Studios has announced the final expansion to their post-apocalyptic city building simulation game Frostpunk originally teased as “Project TVADGYCGJR” its real name was revealed to be On the Edge. The expansion is set after “The great storm” that plunged the world into a new ice age and citizens of England form new cites in the frozen wasteland with hopes of keeping humanity alive. As far as we know about On the Edge is that it’s about an expedition sent out from New London with a special assignment and a vague and ominous quote from a character in the game, “They say the snow is dead. But we’ve learnt to the contrary.” Frostpunk: On the Edge will be coming this summer for PC and can be wishlisted on STEAM now.

In Remnant: From the Ashes, players can team up and face new horrors plaguing the world after an apocalyptic event. 11 Bit Studios will be taking players back to the world of Frostpunk before the events of the main game in their upcoming DLC “The Last Autumn” that will show how the world looked before freezing over. The DLC will show crucial turning points in the world of Frostpunk as the never-ending winter approaches and how the survivors tried to beat back nature in a last-ditch effort to remain civilized before the British Empire finally collapses. Along with new lore, the DLC will include new buildings and technologies as well as new dangers that threaten the survivors and the peace of the settlement. The infamous “Book of Laws” will return and help shape society in new ways not explored in the main game. “The Last Autumn” DLC will release January 21st, for PC. Console releases will come at a later time.
