Stiles White, the writer-director of 2014’s Ouija, has boarded the supernatural thriller Forgotten for LD Entertainment, Variety reports. White will be teaming up with his writing partner and spouse Juliet Snowden to pen the script for the film. Snowden will also serve as executive producer.
The English-language film is an adaption of the 2012 German thriller Du Hast Es Versprochen. Set on a remote island, the story centers on two women who reunite at a childhood vacation home. The friends soon find themselves haunted by the spirit of a girl from their past.
Mickey Liddell, Pete Shilamon and Jennifer Monroe of LD Entertainment, Alison Rosenzweig and Michale Gaeta of Geta Rosenzweig Films will produce with LD Entertainment financing.
