What was Jeffrey Dahmer like before he became an infamous serial killer? The upcoming film My Friend Dahmer will answer that by explore the killer’s teenage years.
Based on the 2012 graphic novel by John “Derf” Backderf, a friend of Dahmer’s as a teen, the film stars Ross Lynch, once a Disney star, as the killer himself who in real life murdered, dismembered and cannibalized 17 young men and boys (that we know of) from 1978 to 1991. You have to admit, Lynch does heavily resemble a young Dahmer.

In the film, Mad Men’s Vincent Kartheiser plays the role of Dahmer’s doctor, Anne Heche will appear as Dahmer’s mother, and Alex Wolff will co-star as “Derf”. Marc Meyers was in the director’s chair for the film. He penned the script as well.
