The first trailer for Todd & the Book of Pure Evil: The End of the End has been by Raven Banner Entertainment revealing an action-filled, gory film with a killer soundtrack.
The animated feature, directed by Richard Duhaney and Craig David Wallace, will be making its world premiere September 3, 2017, in Toronto. A theatrical and home release will follow this December.
“Continuing where the critically acclaimed cult TV series left off, Todd & The Book of Pure Evil: The End of The End: The Animated Feature (or TATBOPE: TEOTE: TAFF for short) returns to Crowley Heights to find Todd, Jenny and Curtis grieving the loss of their dear friend Hannah. Her death may or may not have been caused by Todd’s banishing of the Book. The three must reunite to fight evil when the Book of Pure Evil returns to Crowley High. It brings with it some familiar faces as well as some new foes, such as the Sweater Vest Beast and an Acidic Acne-faced Teen. But, these enemies are merely warm-ups to the final battle with their greatest nemesis yet, The New Pure Evil One. His intimate knowledge of our heroes may ultimately lead to their destruction!”
From the Press Release:
Toronto, On (August 22nd, 2017) – Several well-known characters and actors return in Raven Banner Releasing’s Todd & The Book of Pure Evil: The End of the End: The Animated Feature Film. This time Todd (Alex House), Jenny (Maggie Castle) and Curtis (Bill Turnbull) look for vengeance after losing their friend Hannah. The New Pure Evil One is responsible for her death and he will face their wrath. The just released trailer and upcoming theatrical details are available for the film, here.
The trailer, featuring tons of blood, guts, boners, decapitations, dildo nunchucks, and of course super badass demons, promises that the film is going to be loaded with the same juvenile jokes, gore gags, and satanic sing-alongs that made the original TV series a worldwide hit.
A special sneak peek will take place on September 2nd at Fan Expo Toronto during the Todd & The Book of Pure Evil panel featuring the cast & creators of the series. The panel will be followed up by the World Premiere, on September 3rd, at the Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto. Then, Todd & The Book of Pure Evil: The End of the End will roll out in theatres across Canada starting late September. A home entertainment release, through Video-On-Demand and a limited edition DVD/Blu-Ray, is slated for mid-December.
Written by Charles Picco and Craig David Wallace, the film features voices of Alex House, Maggie Castle, Bill Turnbull, Melanie Leishman, Chris Leavins and Jason Mewes.
