Ed Skrein, who played Ajax, the villain in Deadpool, has joined the cast of Neil Marshall’s new Hellboy movie. He will be playing the role of Major Ben Daimio, a tough military member of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. After a supernatural encounter, the Major was left with the ability to turn into a jaguar when angry.
Skrein will co-star alongside Ian McShane (American Gods) who plays the role of Hellboy’s adoptive father. Resident Evil actress Milla Jovovich has been cast as the villain of the film, Nimue the Blood Queen. David Harbour will be playing Hellboy.
Shooting begins next month in the UK. We will update you when we know more.
