News has come that Saban Films has acquired the U.S. Distribution rights to the Day of the Dead reboot from Millenium Films. Titled Day of the Dead: Bloodline, the film, directed by Hèctor Hernández Vicens, will be released before the end of 2017.
Bloodline follows a former medical student tormented by a dark figure from her past, who happens to be a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her.
The cast includes Sophie Skelton, Marcus Vanco, Jeff Gum, Lorina Kamburova, Nick Loeb, Rachel O’Meara, Luke Cousins, Debbie Sherman, Nathan Cooper, and Cristina Serafini. Campbell Grobman Films is producing along with Jeff Rice.
