
Nicolas Cage is taking a stab at another action-thriller. Cage’s next role is that of Red Miller, a broken, haunted man, who hunts down a religious cult who murdered the love of his life in the 1983 set film Mandy from director Panos Cosmatos (Beyond the Black Rainbow). Cage gets bloody in the first images (courtesy of THR).
Cage will star along with Andrea Riseborough, Linus Roache, Ned Dennehy, Olwen Fouéré, Richard Brake, Sam Louwyk, and Bill Duke.
Mandy recently wrapped principal photography in Belgium. Elijah Wood and Daniel Noah are producing for SpectreVision, Nate Bolotin for XYZ, and Adrian Politowski for Umedia. Nick Spicer, Lisa Whalen, Martin Metz, Todd Brown, Christopher Figg, Peter Bevan and Robert Whitehouse are serving as executive producers.
