Neil Marshall’s Hellboy reboot has already begun filming with ‘Stranger Things’ actor David Harbour starring as the big red guy. Three new cast members have now been announced, Sophie Okonedo (The Escape Artist), Alister Petrie (The Night Manager), and Brian Gleeson (Mother!).
Okonedo will play Lady Haootn, a “resident seer at the Osiris Club”. Petrie will appear as a high-ranking member of the club named Lord Adam Glaren who is obsessed with uncovering mysteries of the supernatural variety. And Brain Gleeson will play the role of Merlin, a wizard. Okonedo, Petrie, Gleeson join Harbour, Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, Sasha Lane, Penelope Mitchell, and Daniel Dae Kim.
In the film, Hellboy and his team are on a mission to save the world from Nimue, played by Jovovich, a medieval sorceress who wants to destroy humankind.
Hellboy fans will have to wait a while to see the film. It is not set to arrive in theaters until January 11, 2019.
