‘Day Of The Dead: Bloodline’ Sinks Its Teeth Into A Release Date

The latest reimagining of George A. Romero’s 1985 classic Day of the Dead officially has a release date.
Now titled Days of the Dead: Bloodline, the film hails from director Hèctor Hernández Vicens and was written by Mark Tonderai and Lars Jacobson.
 

 
Sophia Shelton, Jeff Gum, Marcus Vanco, Mark Rhino Smith, Lorina Kamburova, Rachel O’Meara, Cristina Serafini, Shari Watson, and Debbie Sherman star alongside Jonathan Schaech who plays “Max“. Max has taken the place of the zombie known as Bub in the original film.
 

 
The film, set in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-filled world where a former medical student tormented by a dark figure from her past, who happens to be a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her world.
Day of the Dead: Bloodline will open in theaters on January 5, 2017. It will arrive on VOD and Digital HD on the same day.
