Director David Fincher Gives An Update On ‘World War Z 2’

David Fincher, who will be directing the upcoming sequel to 2013’s zombie outbreak film World War Z, recently gave Little White Lies an update on the sequel’s progress. We’re hoping to get a piece of material that’s a reason to make a movie not an excuse to make a movie,” Fincher recently told Collider, indicating that he’s taking his time with the development process to make sure the sequel is one of worth.” He told Little White Lies that, “We’re trying. A lot of stones have been laid. We’re just deconstructing it right now against the mythology that exists to see where we can go.” It sounds like it will be a while before we see World War Z 2, but the fact that he’s taking the time to find a film worthy script is good news. Fat Dog Games Gearing Up For The Release Of Their Supernatural Game ‘Apparition’

Fat Dog Games has a new title on the way named ‘Apparition’. The teaser trailer has just arrived for the first-person survival horror game and it looks awesome. In the game, players are on a mission to document supernatural activity in the haunted forest of “Devil’s Tramping Ground” located in North Carolina. Players use a Ouija board to learn more about their mission throughout the game. Players will also have video cameras to document the spirits they stumble across. But ghosts aren’t the only things lurking around, demons are hiding in the shadows. And being set in the forest, there are animals to keep an eye out for as well. An exact release date has not been revealed but we do know that ‘Apparition’ will be out sometime in late 2018. There is no word what game systems it will be available for, but we’ll let know when we learn more. In the meantime, check out the teaser.

Character Revealed For TWD/FTWD ‘Worlds Collide’ Crossover

Following tonight’s episode of ‘The Walking Dead’ on AMC, the aftershow ‘Talking Dead’ aired revealing the identity of the cross-over character who will bridge the two series. Early in the episode viewers were told that later in the show we would find out who the character is via a live-video. Sure enough, when the screen came on there sat Lennie James whose character Morgan will make the leap from ‘The Walking Dead’ to its sister show ‘Fear the Walking Dead’. James appeared via satellite due to the fact that he could not make it to the ‘Talking Dead’ set because he begins filming for ‘FTWD’ tomorrow in Austin, Texas. Season 8 of ‘TWD’ only wrapped filming a week ago. While other details remain under wraps. It hasn’t been made clear if the crossover will be on the same timeline as ‘TWD’ at this point. Release Date Announced For Andy Muschietti’s ‘IT’

There’s no question when it comes to what the biggest horror film of the year is, Andy Muschietti’s adaptation of Stephen King’s IT. The film brought in a staggering $700 million at the box office. It’s no surprise that it has been fast-tracked for release. That’s right you will soon be able to bring home your copy of IT. Starring Bill Skarsgard as the terrifying creature known as Pennywise, the film co-stars Jaedon Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, and Chosen Jacobs as “The Losers’ Club”. The film, written by Chase Palmer, Gary Dauberman, and Cary Fukunaga, follows a group of bullied kids who band together when a shapeshifting monster, who takes on the appearance of a demented clown, begins to hunt children. Todd McFarlane Unveils A Page From The New ‘Spawn’ Script

Fans of ‘Spawn’ have been eagerly awaiting news of the upcoming film written and directed by its creator Todd McFarlane. McFarlane has been busy writing the script. On Friday he teased fans with a screenshot of one of the completed pages. The page reveals a scene early in the film, which he will also be directing, where characters Twitch and Danny are at a shooting range. Norwegian game developer Rock Pocket Games is sending gamers to Mars where Lovecraftian horrors await in ‘Moons of Madness’. The game is a first-person psychological horror story where players take on the role of astronaut Shane Newhart who encounters supernatural events at the first research station on the red planet. The game takes a twist on the insanity element of the game where developers came up with a “Zone-Out” mechanic where players see through Shane’s eyes a mix of Shane’s past, events that have not happened yet or things Shane should not know but now does. Movie Review: Beyond the Seventh Door Lies a Fright Flick Well Worth Watching

Beyond the Seventh Door begins with one long ass montage of career criminal Boris (who’s hat is festooned with a large yellow “B” just so we can remember who he is, although how we could forget a man that looks like the unholy union of Billy Drago and Angus Young is beyond me). Anyway, Big B convinces his girlfriend to help him rob her Scrooge McDuck of a boss…which should be easy for a seasoned pro like Boris, but the fact that the boss’ treasure is hidden within a trap laden castle makes things a P.H. more tricky. Back in 2014, we were introduced to Mark Duplass’s disturbing character Aaron in the found footage film Creep. Aaron’s back for another round in Creep 2 from director Patrick Brice who co-wrote the film along with Duplass. In the sequel, Desiree Akhavan (Girls) stars as Sara, a video artist whose primary focus is creating intimacy with lonely men. After finding an ad online for “video work,” she thinks she may have found the subject of her dreams.
