TWD And FTWD Worlds Will Soon Collide – Character Revealed This Sunday

Fans of ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ have been wondering what character will be featured in ‘The World’s Collide’ crossover since the event was first announced back in October. We reported back in November that Jenna Elfman would appear in the episode and that Garret Dillahunt has joined the cast of ‘Fear the Walking Dead’. But the question remains, who will be the character to bridge the series. Well, we’re about to find out. The character will be revealed on this Sunday’s episode of ‘Talking Dead’. AMC announced the reveal via Twitter, but the crossover’s date is still a mystery. Robert Kirkman did say that the special episode will happen in season 9 of ‘TWD’ which will be in season 4 of ‘FTWD’. Universal Puts A Stop To ‘Extinction’

News has come via Variety today that the science-fiction thriller Extinction has been pulled from Universal’s release schedule. Originally set to premiere in theaters on January 26, 2018, the film starring Micahel Pena (Ant-Man) and Lizzy Caplan (Now You See Me 2) has no release date at this time, but when one is announced we will let you know. Extinction centers on Peter and Alice, a husband and wife played by Pena and Caplan. Peter has a reoccurring nightmare of losing his family. His nightmare begins to become a reality when the planet is invaded by a force bent on destruction. ‘Luke Cage’ actor Mike Colter, Lilly Aspell, Emma Booth, Lex Sheppard, and Isreal Broussard co-star. Ben Young directed from the script penned by Academy Award nominee Eric Heisserer, Spenser Cohen, and Bradley Caleb Kane. Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman produced with Alexander Young serving as executive producer.

‘Slumber’ Will Give You Nightmares This December

A new batch of images are here from Jonathan Hopkins’ the supernatural thriller Slumber ahead of its December release. Written By Hopkins and Richard Hobley, the film follows “the story of Alice (Maggie Q), a rationally minded sleep doctor, who is forced to abandon scientific reason and accept a family is being terrorized by a parasitic demon which paralyzes victims as they sleep.” Co-starring Will Kemp, Sylvester McCoy, William Hope, Sam Troughton, Kristen Bush, and Mark Preston, the film was produced by Mark Lane, James Harris and Pascal Degove for Goldcrest Films. Vertical Entertainment will release Slumber on December 1, 2017.

‘Dogged’ Finds Distribution And A 2018 Release

Ash Mountain Films announced today the Left Films has snagged the distribution rights for the award-winning horror film Dogged (review), from director Richard Rowntree. The holiday season is here and it’s time to shop for gifts but there are a couple problems, someone on your list is into collecting creepy things, you’re being forced to get a gift for someone you really don’t like. Fear not (or do fear) the perfect gift is here for you, your very own Robert the Doll! Who’s Robert? Before there was Annabel, there was a doll dressed like a little sailor living in Key West Florida. Why say he’s “Living” in Key West? Many believe that the straw-filled toy is, in fact, alive due to malevolent supernatural forces. Robert was given to a boy, also named Robert, by a house servant in the 1900’s, since then Robert’s family would hear Robert talking to the doll and thought Robert would talk back to himself, changing his voice, but Robert would claim it was the doll talking. ‘American Mary’ Comes To Blu-ray And DVD

Jen and Sylvia Soska’s beautifully twisted 2012 film American Mary has just arrived on Blu-ray and DVD. Both written and directed by the “Twisted Twins” (the Soskas), the film stars Katherine Isabelle as Mary, a medical student who lives in the world of underground surgeries which ends up leaving more marks on her more than her ‘freakish’ clients. Tristan Risk, Antonio Cupo, David Lovgren, Paula Lindberg, Clay St. Thomas, and John Emmet Tracy co-star. The Soskas also make an appearance in the film. Movie Review Kepler’s Dream is Not Nightmare Fuel, But It’s Charming

Hey, ol’ Danny XIII can be as sensitive as the next creep or ghoul, at least that’s what I tell myself when I try and figure out why I would be sent a sentimental family flick (with a dash of the ‘whodunit’ sprinkled on top) to feast my putrid peepers upon. Regardless, sent the film I was, so revoltin’ review I’ll do! Eleven year old Ella is sent to live with her grandmother (whom she has never met) on a ranch in New Mexico after her mother gets cancer (and her Father is too busy working to properly care for her). While at the ranch she befriends ranch hand Miguel and his daughter Rosie…she also gets to help solve the mystery of who pinched a book from her bibliophile Nana’s collection of moldie-oldie tomes (in this case a book that holds sentimental value due to it’s connection to Elle’s dead grandfather). As the search continues on, the body count rises

Chris Pratt Meets A Baby Raptor In The First Clip From Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Writer Colin Trevorrow has revealed the first look at Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the sequel to 2015’s Jurassic World, revealing actor Chriss Pratt giving some love to a baby velociraptor. The six-second clip was released via Trevorrow’s Twitter account and is adorable on so many levels, but let’s face it, nothing ever goes as planned when there are dinosaurs involved. The raptor in the video seems to have very similar markings to Blue, the alpha raptor for Jurassic World.
