Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are an ideal acting team. If you’ve seen Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End, or Paul you know what we say is true. Now, we are about to get a double dose of the duo with a show and a new film and we have a few of the details.
First up is ‘Truth Seekers’, a new upcoming horror-comedy series about a three-person paranormal investigation group. According to Variety, each episode will center on a paranormal incident.

Each episode is going to be an adventure, a potential haunting or something,” Pegg says. “It’ll start as a very parochial idea, a very small business venture for these people, but it will expand as the series goes on to be something far more global. It’s a language everyone understands, the mystery of the unknown. Shaun of the Dead was a very parochial story set in North London, and somehow it managed to get this global reach because everyone understands the language of zombie movies.

The upcoming feature film starring Pegg and Frost is titled Slaughterhouse Rulez, a horror-comedy which is now in post-production. Directed by Crispian Mills, the film is set in a public school and is described as, “very satirical, very much about the U.K. selling itself off,” Pegg states. “It’s about fracking as well, and that unleashes some awful subterranean demon.
Both ‘Truth Seekers’ and Slaughterhouse Rulez will be released under Pegg and Frost’s Stolen Picture banner. We’ll update you when we know more.
