‘Big Bang’ Star Joins Ted Bundy Film ‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile’

Production has begun on the Ted Bundy film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, directed Joe Berlinger. Today, we have an update.
‘Big Bang’ actor Jim Parsons has now joined the cast and will play the role of Larry Simpson, the lead prosecutor in the 1979 Miami trial when Bundy was convicted.
 

 
Zac Effron will star as the suave serial killer who targeted young women, confessing to 30 murders after his arrest. Actress Lily Collins (The Dig) is set to star as Elizabeth Kloepfer, Bundy’s real-life ex-girlfriend whose perspective the film will be told from.
 

 
Acadamy Award nominee John Malkovich will play the role of Judge Edward Cowart. Kaya Scodelario (Pirates of the Caribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales), Hayle Joel Osment (Future Man), Jefferey Donovan  (Burn Notice), Angela Sarafyan (Westworld), Terry Kinney (Billions), and Dylan Baker (Trick ‘r Treat) co-star.
