Warner Bros. announced today that Corin Hardy’s The Conjuring 2 spin-off, The Nun, will be haunting theaters a little later than originally announced. First scheduled to be released this July, the date has now been changed to September 7, 2018.

The Nun centers on a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania. After taking her own life, the Vatican opens an investigation. Together the investigator and a priest with a haunted past uncover the order’s unholy secret and confront a malevolent entity, the same one Ed and Lorraine Warren faced in The Conjuring 2.
