Following his role in the IFC festival hit Ghost Stories, Martin Freeman plays a father desperate to find a home for his child during the zombie apocalypse in Cargo.

The trailer has just arrived and it is a lot more brutal and gore-filled than the short film by the same name that it is based on.
From filmmakers Yolanda Ramke and Ben Howling comes the film about, “…a father who, stranded in rural Australia in the aftermath of a violent pandemic and, infected himself, desperately seeks a new home for his infant child and a means to protect her from his own changing nature.

Anthony Hayes, Caren Pistorius, Susie Porter, Kris McQuade, Simone Landers and David Gulpilil also star.
Following its run at the Tribeca Film Festival in April, Cargo will arrive on Netflix’s streaming service on May 18, 2018.
