A.R.S. films in association with DefTone Pictures Studios Inc. has officially announced that the trailer for Adam R Steigert’s FANG will be unveiled on the next full moon, May 29, 2018.
Currently, in post-production with an October 2018 release, it promises “a fresh new tale in the
folklore of werewolf films as horror icon Melantha Blackthorne (Doris Crowley), Patrick
Mallette (Roy Crowley) and their faithful caretaker Gregory Blair (Harold Pinter) will reinvent
everything you think you knew!”
Jennie Russo (Shelly) from Ron Bonk’s She Kills, Michael O’Hear (William Sanders) (Return to Nuke ‘Em High Volume 1 & Johnny Gruesome) Jason John Beebe (Chris) (Sharknado 2: The Second One & Ombis: Alien Invasion) as well as newcomers Chloe (Melodie Roehrig) and Joe (Theo Kemp).
In the film, “After participating in a robbery turned murder, Chloe (Melodie Roehrig) and Joe (Theo Maefs) decided to hide out at a distant relative’s house only to find themselves stalked and hunted by
creatures and forces unknown.
Director Adam R. Steigert (Ombis: Alien Invasion, A Grim Becoming) pledges “to make the film a
gory, artistic, suspense thrill ride.”
It’s been a very interesting ride, when I first proposed the concept to producers I pitched how the film would be an artistic horror film, full of suspense and extreme gore. Like any new pitch I felt like there might have been reservation, not only from producers but from cast as well. Each one trusted my direction and vision, and for that I am extremely grateful. I feel that we have been able to create together an iconic horror film that will last for ages and could very well be compared to some of the all-time greats that defined ‘horror’.” Steigert stated.
The trailer will be unveiled later this month, followed by the release of Fang this October.
