Over the past week, we’ve shared several images from Rob Zombie‘s highly-anticipated sequel to The Devil’s Rejects, 3 From Hell.
So, when will see 3 From Hell? Zombie, who both wrote and directed the movie, recently told Blabbermouth that as soon as his joint tour with Marilyn Manson ends he’ll begin editing with a 2019 release as his target.
We’re done shooting it,” Zombie told the site. “I finished about two weeks ago. And, basically, the process just stops and waits for me. ‘Cause the film will just basically sit and wait till I get back from tour, which is the end of August, maybe… And then we’ll start editing. And that’ll take me through the rest of the year.”
Zombie and Moseley star alongside Sid Haig, Austin Stoker, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Daniel Roebuck, Emilio Rivera, Clint Howard, Bill Oberst Jr. (interview), David Ury, Tom Papa, Danny Trejo, Dee Wallace, Dot-Marie Jones, Richard Riehle, Richard Edson, Pancho Moler, Sean Whalen, and Kevin Jackson.
The first images have begun to be released via Rob Zombie’s Instagram account. The first pictures to be released are of Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie) and Otis (Bill Moseley). They appear to have been taken in a courthouse or jail. Those stills have been followed by images (below) of Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding, and the new characters Sebastian played by Pancho Moler-Pascal and Warden Virgil Dallas Harper, played by Jeff Daniel Phillips. Clint Howard will be playing the role of “Mr. Baggy Pants”.
The most recent image shared by Zombie is that of Danny Trejo who returns as “Rondo”.
