First Images From ‘Grudge’ Surface Revealing A Bloody Mess

Next August Grudge will be unleashed by director Nicolas Pesce (The Eyes of My Mother). The first images from the set of the film have surfaced and we have them to share with you.
Lin Shaye (Insidious), John Cho (“The Exorcist”), Demián Bichir (The Nun), William Sadler (Iron Man 3), Betty Gilpin (Glow), Andrea Riseborough (Mandy), and Jacki Weaver (Life of the Party) star.
The film, a reboot of the Takashi Shimazu-directed 2004 film based on Japanese horror thriller Ju-On, centers on a mysterious and vengeful spirit who marks and pursues anybody who dares enter the house in which it resides.
The new movie, written by Midnight Meat Train scribe Jeff Buhler, will mark the twelfth of the Ju-On/Grudge franchise that includes a video game, two short films, and graphic novels.
Evil Dead‘s Sami Raimi and Robert Tapert are producing with Roy Lee (IT) executive producing.
Grudge will be unleashed on the US on Friday, August 16, 2019.
