David M. Rosenthal‘s new version of the 1990 film Jacob’s Ladder is moving right along, in fact, it is set to be released early next year.
The film centers on Jacob Singer who returns home from Afghanistan after losing his brother in combat, only to be pulled into a mind-twisting state of paranoia as he realizes that his brother is alive and life is not what it seems.
Michael Ealy and Jesse Williams star with Joseph Sikora, Guy Burnet, Nicole Beharie, Nicole Beharie, and Karla Souza co-starring.
Michael J. Gaeta, Mickey Liddell, Jennifer Monroe, William Packer, Alison R. Rosenzwig, and Pete Shilaimon are producing. Scott Holroyd and James Lopez serve as executive producers.
The original film, directed by Adrian Lyne and written by Bruce Joel Rubin, starred Tim Robbins.
Jacob’s Ladder is set to be released nationwide on February 1, 2019.
