‘The Amityville Murders’ Trailer Takes Us Back To The Beginning

The Amityville legend continues to grow. A new film about the allegedly haunted house will premiere this October, The Amityville Murders, from writer-director Daniel Farrands. But this time, we will witness the original events that led to the night an entire family was gunned down in their sleep by one of their own. “On the night of November 13, 1974, Ronald DeFeo Jr. took a high-powered rifle and murdered his entire family as they slept. At his trial, DeFeo claimed that “voices” in the house commanded him to kill. This is their story.” John Robinson, Chelsea Ricketts, Paul Ben-Victor, Diane Franklin, Noa Brenner, Zane Austin, and Kue Lawrence star as the DeFeo family. Eric Brenner, Lucas Jarach, and Daniel Farrands (A Haunting in Connecticut) produced. German Michael Torres of CineTel Films and Jim Jacobson serve as executive producers. The Amityville Murders open in theaters on October 15, 2018.

Women In Horror Film Festival Announces Lineup For This October

This October The Women in Horror Film Festival returns to Atlanta to celebrate some of the most innovative female filmmakers in the genre. The film festival has announced the full lineup of films, screenplay contest finalists, and highlights what genre fans can expect, which you can read more about on their website and where you can also get your tickets. “WIHFF is proud to present the world premiere of the anthology BUGS: A TRILOGY, directed by Simone Kisiel. As World War I rages above, a small group of Allied troops explore an abandoned bunker far below ground. Inside those claustrophobic confines they discover an unimaginable horror…okay, it’s pretty imaginable…but it’s bad fuckin’ news all the same! You see, those fun lovin’ goofs the Germans have created a super shitty biological weapon which infects one of our heroes faster than you can say The Kaiser. Naturally our sickly soldier begins stalking and slaying his erstwhile comrades with wild abandon! Trench 11 has one major plus going for it and that’s fantastic lighting and set design that really creates an air of hopeless claustrophobia. Our heroes literally have next to nowhere to hide as their infected friend goes plum crazy. It creates a fantastic aesthetic, and keeps the suspense rate high. HorrorHound Weekend Indy Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary In Grand Style

Hello my Little Monsters, we are less than a week away from HorrorHound Weekend’s celebration of all things horror movie related. And what makes this year even more special is the fact that it’s HorrorHound’s 10th Anniversary convention. To celebrate this big occasion, the festivities (which run from Friday August 24th through Sunday the 26th) have been moved to more spacious digs at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in downtown Indianapolis. They are filling this large venue with over 50 celebrity guests from horror movies old and new, as well as over 100 special effects artists and mask makers at Mask Fest. Have you had enough yet? Official ‘Sharknado: Its About Time’ Trailer Arrives Ahead Of Premiere

Anthony C. Ferrante’s The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time, the last film of the franchise will wrap up Syfy’s annual “Sharknado Week” this Sunday night, August 19. Today, the network has finally released the full trailer. ‘All The Creatures Were Stirring’ Will Arrive Just In Time For Christmas

RJLE has snagged the North American rights to the upcoming holiday horror film All the Creatures Were Stirring. In the film, a date on Christmas Eve leads a couple to a theater, where they’re treated to a bizarre and frightening collection of Christmas stories, featuring a wide ensemble of characters doing their best to avoid the horrors of the holidays. The couple will witness everything from office parties and shopping to vengeful stalkers and demons.
