In 2006, Patrick Süskind’s best-selling novel was adapted for the feature film Perfume: The Story of a Murder. Now, it’s been adapted again, this time for the German Netflix series “Perfume,” set to premiere this December and we’ve got the first trailer to share with you.
In the six-episode first season, “While in boarding school, a group of six become friends through their intense passion for scent. When one is brutally murdered years later, disturbing secrets about the group are revealed when the police investigate each as a suspect.”

Directed by Philipp Kadelbach, the series stars August Diehl, Ken Duken, and Susanne Wuest.
“Perfume” makes its Netflix debut on December 21, 2018.
