One of this year’s biggest hits is Netflix’s Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa‘s “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” starring Kiernan Shipka. In fact, fans are loving the dark series so much Netflix has renewed the series for two more seasons, a total of 16 episodes.
The show’s creator and executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said the following in a statement:
Praise Satan! I’m so grateful to my partners at Warner Brothers, Netflix, Berlanti Television, and Archie Productions for supporting this dark vision of the world’s most famouse teen witch. And I’m thrilled to be continuing to tell Sabrina’s chilling adventures with our incredible cast and crew led by the unstoppable Kiernan Shipka.”
The renewal news comes on the heels of the release of “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” holiday special A Midwinter’s Tale.
“The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” tells the story of Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka), a half-witch half-mortal teenage girl. Season two will feature nine episodes filled with devilish fun, frights, and delights. Now that Sabrina has signed her name in the Book of the Beast things are guaranteed to be darker and more disturbing.
