The new trailer for Netflix’s horror film Velvet Buzzsaw aims to make us fear art. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Rene Russo the film is from Nightcrawler writer-director Dan Gilroy.
This haunting thriller centers on a quirky but stern art critic (Gyllenhaal) who stumbles across a set of incredible paintings that captivate the art world. The artist issues a demand that paintings be destroyed after his death, but his warning goes unheeded. The paintings soon begin haunting and killing those who get too close.
