Back in 2016, we reported that The CW was developing a series adaptation of 1987’s classic The Lost Boys. Tonight, Deadline is reporting that The CW has now officially ordered the pilot.
The series, originally written by Rob Thomas the series is now in the hands of “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy” writer Heather Mitchell.
“After the sudden death of their father, two brothers move to Santa Carla with their mother, who hopes to start anew in the town where she grew up. But the brothers find themselves drawn deeper and deeper into the seductive world of Santa Carla’s eternally beautiful and youthful undead.”
