We have great news for fans on The Conjuring Universe, Annabelle 3 will arrive in theaters ahead of its original release date. Originally set to open on July 3rd, the possessed doll sequel will arrive in theaters on June 28th.
James Wan has teased that the spin-off has similarities to Night at the Museum. This time around Annabelle will wreak havoc in the Warren’s room of haunted artifacts. Gary Dauberman (Annabell, IT), who penned the script and who is making his directorial debut with the film, has stated that the doll will target the Warren’s 10-year-old daughter Judy (McKenna Grace) who has already had a run in with Annabelle.
“Annabelle basically activates all the other haunted artifacts in that room, so it’s basically Night at the Museum with Annabelle.” Wan explains.
Both Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return as Lorraine and Ed Warren. Madison Iseman, McKenna Grace, Katie Sarife, and Steve Coulter also star.
Be sure to watch Annabelle, and it’s prequel Annabelle: Creation before heading to theaters this June for the third installment.
