Today, Paramount Pictures unveiled the trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate from Deadpool director Tim Miller. Now the studio has also released a behind-the-scenes featurette in which James Cameron, who directed the original film, makes it crystal clear that Dark Fate takes us back to the Judgment Day timeline.
“More than two decades after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Sarah Connor (Hamilton) sets out to protect a young woman named Dani Ramos (Reyes) and her friends as a liquid metal Terminator, Rev 9 (Luna), sent from the future attempts to terminate them.”
Written by David S. Goyer, based on a story by Miller, Cameron, and David Ellison, Terminator: Dark Fate marks the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, who stars alongside Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalie Reyes, and Diego Boneta.
Terminator: Dark Fate is set premiere on November 1st, 2019.
