The third season of “Scream” is finally on its way, but it won’t be on its original network. THR has confirmed that the third season will premiere this July on VH1 instead of MTV.
Based on the hit franchise by the same name, the third season centers around RJ Cyler‘s character Deion Elliot, a local star football player whose tragic past comes back to haunt him, threatening his plans for the future – and the lives of his friends.
Mary J. Blige, Tyga, Keke Palmer, Tyler Posey, CJ Wallace, Giorgia Whigham, Jessica Sula, and Giullian Tao star. Franchise creator Wes Craven serves as executive producer along with Queen Latifah, Liz Gateley, Tony DiSanto, Cathy Konrad, and Marianne Maddalena. Matthew Signer and Keith Levine produce.
Season Three of “Scream” premieres on VH1 with a 3-night event on July 8, 2019.
