The Craft Reboot Conjures Its First Witch

For years we’ve rumors of reboots and sequels for the classic witch movie The Craft.  It’s now been confirmed that Blumhouse is indeed working on a reboot and has cast the first witch, 21-year old Cailee Spaeny (Pacific Rim Rising) will be starring as Sarah Bailey, originally played by Robin Tunney.

 

 

Life in PiecesZoe Lister-Jones will be in the director’s chair for the reboot which is set to begin production this July. The original film’s Doug Wick will be returning to produce.

 

 

In the original, Sarah was the new girl in town who befriended a group of witches whose new powers corrupt the high schoolers. Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, and Rachel True also starred.

 

 

The rest of the cast should be announced soon.
