This August, James Gunn‘s Brightburn, one of the biggest films of the year comes to Digital, 4K Ultra, Blu-ray and DVD and we couldn’t be more excited!

What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? In this horror-centered take on the superhero trope, a couple (Elizabeth Banks and David Denman) adopt a baby from another world. They raise the boy (Jackson A. Dunn) to use his powers for good, but evil begins to grow within him.

From visionary filmmaker James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, Slither) who also co-wrote the film along with Mark Gunn, presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror, arriving on Digital August 6, 2019, followed by its release on 4K Ultra, Blu-ray or DVD on August 20th, from Sony Pictures. Be sure to check out our interview with Tim Williams, the composer behind the film’s excellent soundtrack.

Not only is the 4K Ultra, Blu-ray, and DVD packed with terror, action, and a fresh new take on the superhero genre, they are also filled with badass special features!
