Patrick Schwarzenegger stars in the supernatural thriller Daniel Isn’t Real, from director Adam Egypt Mortimer, the award-winning filmmaker behind Some Kind of Hate and 2016’s Holidays.
Schwarzenegger stars alongside Miles Robbins (“The X-Files”), Sasha Lane (Hellboy), Hannah Marks (The Amazing Spider-Man), and Mary Stuart Masterson (“Blindspot”).
Written by Mortimer and Brian DeLeeuw, the film centers on “troubled college freshman Luke (Robbins) suffers a violent family trauma and resurrects his childhood imaginary friend Daniel (Schwarzenegger) to help him cope. Charismatic and full of manic energy, Daniel helps Luke to achieve his dreams, before pushing him to the very edge of sanity and into a desperate struggle for control of his mind — and his soul.”
Daniel Isn’t Real, from the producers of Mandy, opens in theaters and arrives On Demand and Digital December 6, 2019.
