This September Netflix’s genre-bending film In the Shadow of the Moon will make its debut. From director Jim Mickle, comes this psychological thriller that delves into the power of time, and how its passing can either bring people together or how it can rip them apart.
Set in 1988, “Philadelphia police officer Thomas Lockhart (Boyd Holbrook), hungry to become a detective, begins tracking a serial killer who mysteriously resurfaces every nine years. But when the killer’s crimes begin to defy all scientific explanation, Locke’s obsession with finding the truth threatens to destroy his career, his family, and possibly his sanity.”
“Dexter” actor Michael C. Hall also stars along with Cleopatra Coleman, Bokeem Woodbine, Rudi Dharmalingam, and Rachel Keller. Gregory Weidman and Geoff Tock penned the script. Brian Kavanaugh Jones, Ben Pugh, Rian Cahill, Linda Moran, and Jim Mickle produce the movie from 42, Automatik, and Nightshade.
In the Shadow of the Moon debuts on Netflix on September 27, 2019. Hopefully, the trailer will soon be released.
