The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise has featured prequels, sequels, remakes and now it’s getting another movie.
According to Bloody-Disgusting, Evil Dead director Fede Álvarez is attached to produce and is currently hunting for a director for the movie. But that’s not all, Kim Henkel, who co-wrote and produced the 1974 original and directed its sequel is set to produce as well.
At the moment there are no details about the film’s plot, but BD is reporting the Legendary has its eye on a direct sequel to the original.
Álvarez did a fantastic job with his version of Evil Dead. With his and Henkel’s involvement in the new movie I believe it has a lot of potential to be a great film. We’ll keep you posted.
