PC players will be happy to know that this Halloween that indie game developer Straight Back Games, is hosting an open Beta of their upcoming co-op game The Watchers. The beta starts Halloween and ends on November 3rd. If players are interested in signing up for the Beta, they can join The Watchers Discord and sign up in the #beta-signup channel. Each sign up will get two keys so they can play with a friend online.
The Watchers follows twins Luisa and Frederico as they search for clues relating to the disappearance of their mother who was a cult leader. Their search will take them to the now-abandoned headquarters of the cult known as The Watchers of Azazel who’ve vanished after the twins’ mother became the cult’s new leader.
The game is co-op and requires teamwork in order to solve puzzles, find objects, and avoid enemies that lurk around. Though there’s no jump scares in the game, it will have a chilling environment in the cult’s headquarters where you can uncover the disturbing truth of both the cult and your estranged mother.
