From Jennifer Kent, the director of The Babadook, comes The Nightingale, a period thriller about a woman’s mission of revenge.

Aisling Franciosi, Baykali Ganambarr, Sam Claflin, and Damon Herriman star in this controversial film that had audiences fleeing theaters due to its graphic violence.

Set in the 18th century, this historical horror follows the story of  21-year-old Irish convict Clare (Aisling Franciosi) as she sets out to avenge her family.

Kristina Ceyton, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky produced.

The Nightingale lands on Digital November 1, 2019, from IFC Films.
