Ahead of its theatrical debut this weekend, a new clip has come in for A24’s new frightening, seductive, and darkly humorous film In Fabric, from brilliant writer-director Peter Strickland, who brought us the sadistic film The Duke of Burgandy in 2014.
In the film, a lonely woman (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) who is recently separated from her husband, visits a bewitching London department store in search of a new dress. She discovers a stunning blood-red dress which, in time, will unleash a curse of unstoppable evil, threatening everyone she comes in contact with.
Marianne Jean-Baptiste (“Blindspot”) stars along with Gwendoline Christie (“Game of Thrones), Jaygann Ayeh (The Souvenir), and Fatma Mohamed (The Field Guide to Evil).
Ian Benson, Andrew Boswell, Hilary Davis, Lizzie Franke, Phil Hunt, Lizzi Franke, Rose Garnett, Compton Ross, Stephen Kelliher, Andrew Starke, and Sunny Vohra produced.
In Fabric opens in theaters on Friday, December 6th.
